Cristina Civetta is a native New Yorker, who grew up on the Upper East side, born into the world of restaurants and hospitality. She has had a career in the events and business development capacity for over 15 years.
Cristina was born with congenital heart disease and has since undergone seven lifesaving surgeries. After her open-heart surgery in 2013, she became passionate about the cause of heart disease prevention and education. Cristina has been a fierce advocate for the American Heart Association, in spreading the message of testing, sharing her story to empower others and health and wellness as a spokesperson for AHA.
In her career, Cristina built brand strategy for companies such as Electric Hospitality, i-D magazine, Chelsea Hotel Group, Total-Management, Moet Henessy, and the Global Poverty Project as well as executing events globally. Cristina has a deep understanding of business development and strategic partnerships especially in the charity sector, working for over five years to support the American Heart Association and as a board member of the Wolf Conservation Center.
In 2018 Cristina successfully sold their 14 million dollar duplex in Soho and gained the real estate bug. Throughout the past few years she has gained a deeper understanding of the real estate market both in Manhattan and Westchester, and CT. Cristina has also been involved with real estate through her husband whose a real estate developer, especially in the hotel sector. Cristina oversees the real estate investments of her family both in Manhattan and Italy. Cristina lives between Manhattan and Pound Ridge, NY with her husband, Ed Scheetz, and their five furry pets and two goats.
