Your local brewery is one of the best places to find great food and drinks. Here are the Westchester County breweries you should visit.

The rise of craft beer has had a huge impact on communities all over the country, as new breweries are starting up all the time. However, breweries offer so much more than beer! They provide a unique atmosphere often filled with local art, great food, games, and entertainment.

It just so happens we have some of New York's best breweries right here in Westchester County. If you're looking for a laid-back atmosphere and delicious beer, and want to support local businesses, our REALTORS® recommend a visit to one of these fantastic local breweries:

  • Captain Lawrence Brewing - 444 Saw Mill River Rd, Elmsford, NY 10523
Westchester County's largest craft brewery, Captain Lawrence Brewing has a 25K sq. ft. brewing facility, a 2.5k sq. ft beer hall, and a 6k sq. ft outdoor beer garden. Lagers, IPAs, wheat-style, and seasonals — no matter the style you prefer, you'll find it here. The food menu includes pub fare, pizzas, and traditional American entrees. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and the brewery often hosts live music on the weekends.

  • Wolf And Warrior - 195 E Post Rd, White Plains, NY 10601
Indulge in a Patagonia Argentinian Golden Ale or a Beskar Steel IPA at Wolf And Warrior Brewing. 80% of the grains and 40% of the hops used at this brewery are from right here in New York state. This brewery is a great place for drinks and dinner. The taproom food menu features tacos, wings, burgers, and the highly popular Chicken & Waffles. If you love this brewery, you'll love these beautiful White Plains homes for sale nearby.

  • Sing Sing Kill Brewery - 75 Spring St, Ossining, NY 10562
Sing Sing Kill Brewery strives to serve as a gathering spot and asset for the community. Not only do they manufacture beer and serve it in their local tap room, they're also a live music venue. The beer selection consists of a number of house beers brewed onsite as well as guest beers from other local breweries. The Honeymooner, a Belgian Style Wit beer is one of our favorites.

  • River Outpost Brewing Co. - 5 John Walsh Blvd, Peekskill, NY 10566
Located at Charles Point in Peekskill, River Outpost Brewing is one of the area's newest and most unique breweries. Situated right on the Hudson River, this brewery serves some spectacular views along with its delicious beer. It's also located near one of the most scenic hiking spots in Westchester County. With hoppy IPAs, light lagers, and canned cocktails, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

  • Broken Bow Brewery - 173 Marbledale Rd, Tuckahoe, NY 10707
For some great IPAs, check out Broken Bow Brewery. This microbrewery's beer has won multiple awards and is definitely worth a try. They offer a large, comfortable taproom as well as a nice outdoor beer garden. While food is not made in-house, they schedule a nice rotation of awesome local food trucks.

  • Yonkers Brewing Co. - 92 Main St, Yonkers, NY 10701
Hand-crafted, locally brewed beer, great food, and lots of fun — Yonkers Brewing Co. is one of our favorite breweries. In addition to their amazing beer, they also host live bands, trivia, silent dance parties, and karaoke. If you'd like to have a fun place to hang out in your own backyard, we recommend touring one of these amazing Yonkers homes for sale.
